Questions

Frequently asked questions

How engagements work with your team, your systems and your timeline.

How does a fractional CIO work with our existing team?

Nick works alongside your leadership and your IT or engineering leads. He owns the roadmap, vendors and board reporting, while your team keeps running the day to day.

Can we go straight from the assessment into a project?

Yes. The assessment ends with a prioritized roadmap, and any part of it can become a project or a fractional retainer.

Who actually does the work?

Nick leads every engagement. Specialists from the bench in application development, NetSuite and systems engineering are staffed in when the work calls for them.

How do you handle our systems, code and data?

We work in your own accounts and repositories wherever possible, and confidentiality and ownership terms are set out in each engagement agreement.
